Your local parks are wonderful places for family and friend to enjoy summer afternoons. Family reunions, birthday parties, graduation parties and other milestone events are celebrated in pavilions. Parents, with kids in tow, head to the playgrounds, while teenagers flock together to ball courts. Organized sport leagues use the fields, bleachers and courts as well. People may walk on a paved trail, and, they may bring their dog. And, mostly everyone who uses the park drives there- therefore, using the parking lot. When people use the park, it is bound to get dirty.
Yes- our recreational parks are used heavily, some seasons more than others. Because of this, the recreation departments of our local cities are very busy with the upkeep of the resources their community enjoys. After all, no one would ever go to a dirty park. Picnic tables and benches
Picnic tables and benches may be found in pavilions, but they are also probably dotted throughout the parks. Imagine the amount of behinds that sit on these. Pavilions
Pavilions, usually with concrete floors, are the host to many a family function. That said, there are many types of dishes that are served potluck style inside. Playground equipment
Lots of small children slide down the slide, climb across the monkey bars and spin around on the merry-go-round. But, when you look closer- think of all the germs that could be lurking within the fun zone. Of course, parents should have their kids wash their hands after each use. However, pressure washing the playground equipment once a season is a great way to maintain them. Build up can result in slippery handles, etc. A clean playground is a safe playground.
